We've reached Episode 23 and just like the defenseman who wears that number...we're checking out!
This will be our last podcast for a little bit. We might be back for a podcast around draft time and we will for sure do a podcast this summer around or on July 1 depending on what Ken Holland and the Red Wings do. Hell, we might even do a random podcast between now and then if we're bored or any breaking news comes out (e.g. Nicklas Lidstrom retiring). But for now, we leave you with the season finale of WIIM Radio. No guests this week. No rundown. Just Jeff, Graham, Tyler and J.J sharing our thoughts on the end of the season and what we expect from the organ-i-zation moving forward.
Will Lidstrom retire? Will Ryan Suter and Zach Parise wear the Winged Wheel? Who will Brendan Smith's defensive partner be on the Red Wings next season? Find out the answers to those burning questions and more!

No guests this week. Just the regular crew breaking down the Red Wings Game 3 loss to the Predators. We try to figure out what the hell happened, who's to blame and where the team needs to go from here on out. Mix in some specialty team talk, which Wings' player needs to step up the most and some chatter on the shit show that isPenguins vs Flyers and it's a jam packed episode this week.

It's our playoff preview podcast.
Tyler, J.J. and Jeff are joined by Chris (@predatweeter) from On the Forecheck to break down the series between the Red Wings and Predators. We look at Nashville's top power play unit and how they matches up against Detroit's improving PK group. Chris gives us three reasons why the Predators will win and J.J. gives us three reasons why the Red Wings win. Chris also answers the age old question about how to correctly pronounce Alexander Radulov's name and answers just exactly how far the Preds have to go to possibly guarantee that Ryan Suter re-signs with the club. Plus, we give you our predictions for the series.

A historic epsiode of WIIM Radio.
We're joined by Michelle (aka @Slapshotg0al) who gives us the inside scoop on Operation Eaves. Plus, we look back at Sunday's game against the Panthers, Gustav Nyquist's time in a top six role, and J.J. has a very surprising and inspiring stat about Jonathan Ericsson. Of course, we mention Brendan Smith, make fun of Mikael Samuelsson, discuss Mike Babcock's future with the Red Wings and, finally, how we feel about this team as we head towards the postseason.

Well, it's #19. Naturally that means this has to be our best podcast yet, right?
Graham is finally back from losing his kid's college funds in Las Vegas and Michael Petrella from The Production Line joins us as well. We discuss the roller coaster of a win against the Hurricanes that ended the Red Wings' six-game losing streak. Pavel Datsyuk and Nicklas Lidstrom are back from injury and Jimmy Howard and Johan Franzen could be next. Petrella helps us decide what the hell is going to happen with Gustav Nyquist when the injury bug is murdered and everyone is back and good to go. Plus, Brendan Smith was sent down to Grand Rapids. We tell you what that means for our favorite player.

It might be doom and gloom for the Red Wings after this past week, but not on the latest episode of WIIM Radio.
Jeff and J.J. are joined as always by Tyler from The Triple Deke. Our favorite Canadian, Marlon (@marlonbrando_), joins the podcast and Peter (@KinFin), who is more commonly known around these parts as Eurocap, joins us as well. Peter is part of the Shawn Burr Foundation and gives us some the inside story on the Foundation's hockey game against the Red Wings Alumni team. Plus, Peter updates us on Burr's battle against leukemia and what people can do to help. Information is available at ShawnBurrFoundation.org.
We also get into the return of Pavel Datsyuk, what to do with Danny Cleary and Gustav Nyquist, and it wouldn't be an episode of WIIM Radio without some chatter on the crap that is know as the Red Wings' power play. We look at the final race for playoff positioning and look forward to the week ahead and the Wings big game against the Rangers in New York City.

The injury bug continued to take it's toll on the Red Wings, but we survived to produce another episode of WIIM Radio for our fine readers here at the blog.
Jeff, Graham and J.J. look back at the week that was and look forward to what lies on the road ahead to the playoffs. We also touch on the Radulov/Predators situation, whether the GMs should vote to bring back the red line and change the overtime format, and look back on the Kronwalling of Jakub Voracek.
So enjoy the latest episode of WIIM Radio. You can check us out on iTunes and download the podcast to your iPod or iPhone. You can also download the episode here. Stick tap to Brandon Langer for creating our intro. Check out his other music on Facebook and iTunes.

Thankfully no one was injured during the recording of this podcast. However, Graham is listed day-to-day with a lower body injury and will be re-evaluated for next week's episode.
Lots of injury talk and whether it's time to panic or just be really, really concerned...at least for the short term. Plus we answered the question: If only one of Pavel Datsyuk and Nicklas Lidstrom could return for the rest of the season, who would you pick?
Plus, some power play talk, lots of Brendan Smith discussion and FMK Cosby style.

The trade deadline has come and passed and on the latest episode of WIIM Radio we break down all of Ken Holland's big moves.
So get ready for 60 minutes of Mike Commodore talk!
Have no fear, we also debate whether the prices really were too high and if we would have given up too much and done whatever it takes to make an addition. Plus, which teams in the West got better and, of course, we discuss Brendan Smith and whether he's already passed Jakub Kindl on the depth chart.

Forget Marek vs. Wyshynski.
It's WIIM Radio vs Wyshynski, bitches!
This week on WIIM Radio we're joined by the biggest guest in the short history of our podcast, non other than the man behind the curtain at Puck Daddy, Greg Wyshynski. We get Wysh's take on Hockey Day in America, the Red Wings 23-game home win streak, and some of the bigger stories around the NHL these days. Wysh also explains his thoughts on Red Wings fans and their tin foil hats and we dig a little deeper into his "feud" with Abel to Yzerman and the 19. Wyshynski is a Devils fan, so we find out where he really thinks Zach Parise will end up next season (Hint: It's not New Jersey). Of course, we included him in a little bit of FMK action starring the cast of Scrubs.
We also discuss the rise of Drew Miller and the return of Jimmy Howard. Plus, does this Red Wings team have what it takes to win their 12th Stanley Cup? What would a WIIM Radio podcast be without a little bit of trade deadline talk? We rank the Wings' biggest needs at the deadline.
